Air Delivery Systems and Parachutes
Air Delivery Systems and Parachutes
ASAS DEFENSE also supplies parachutes from its partners for military use (commando units, special forces and Cargo parachutes). Types of parachutes are such as;
Delivery Systems
CARRY TO LOAD | Automatically deliver about 250 kg of cargo as accurately as possible. Designers have already upgraded their own development, increasing its load capacity to 500 kg. |
GUIDED SYSTEMS | The system is guided by the coordinates of GLONASS or GPS, it can be controlled from the ground or descend in a "managed" mode. In this case, the cargo follows the "leading" parachutist. A ground control system receives the GPS coordinates and shares them with the parachute through a digital communication channel. |
OTHER SYSTEMS | The transport system consists of a landing platform, a parachute with a controllable wing-type dome, as well as equipment for automatic flight and guidance. |
ADVANTAGES | "The main advantage of the system is its accuracy. The Juncker-DG-250 system, to drop loads weighing up to 250 kg (551 pounds) from an altitude of up to 8,000 meters (26,246.72 feet) with a maximum landing error of 100 meters (328 feet). The system has just been patented and they have also received a patent for an “all-purpose parachute cargo harness” that can “increase the payload of any parachute system to 500 kg (1,102 pounds).” |
TYPE OF AIRCRAFTS | The parachute capacities enable it to drop various weapons, equipment, and ammunition, with various type of aircraft like IL 76, C130, CN235 etc. |
